Prescription eyewear for all occasions
After decades in the eyecare industry, our team are highly experienced in preparing your prescription lenses. We are experts at fitting your frames, and ensuring your new eyewear is not only comfortable but perfect for you!
Whether you bring your prescription to us or have your eye examination within our practice, we get to know you and understand how you will be using your glasses. We want you to see the world with clear vision and get back to enjoying your favourite activities.
Frames
Gone are the days of basic glasses frames! Let your personality shine when it comes to selecting your new frames. We focus on making sure there is no pressure on your nose and head, otherwise you simply won’t want to wear them! Matching your personal style alongside comfort is vital.
Glass or plastic lenses?
Selecting glass or plastic lenses for your frames ultimately depends on how you are using them. At Spectrum Family Eyecare we can help you determine which lens will suit you and your lifestyle best.
Contact lenses
If you prefer to wear contact lenses instead of glasses, you have two types available to you: soft and hard. Soft contact lenses are a more popular option worldwide as they are comfortable, easy to adjust to, and stay in place throughout the day. Hard contacts are durable, easy to care for, and more hygienic but can be harder to adjust to for first-time users.
Lens treatments
- Anti-reflection – Eliminates reflections from the front and back surface of your glasses
- Transitions – Quick transition shading as lighting changes
- Blue light – Provides relief when working on screens
