We Care
Giving old glasses a second life, and looking after our community.
Developing countries
Over one billion people worldwide lack access to basic eyecare, and across developing countries more people need glasses every year. Your old glasses can change that for someone.
Simply drop your preloved frames into the practice. We clean, repair and make sure they reach the people who need them.
If a pair can't be reused, we recycle the materials instead. Nothing goes to waste, and every donation helps.

Eye care tips
Simple habits for lifelong healthy vision.
Regular eye tests
Adults every one to two years, children before school. Don't wait for symptoms. Many conditions develop without warning signs.
Healthy diet
Omega-3 fatty acids, zinc and vitamins C and E all support eye health. Leafy greens, oily fish and eggs are particularly good.
UV protection
Wear quality sunglasses with UV protection. Australia's high UV index makes this especially important.
The 20-20-20 rule
Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. It reduces digital eye strain significantly.
